Major Amanda Charlton

MAJ Amanda Charlton hails from Pendleton, OR and is a graduate of Western Oregon University, obtaining her commission in the United States Army through ROTC. MAJ Charlton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Master of Operational Studies from Command and General Staff College, as well as a Master of Health Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Army-Baylor University.
MAJ Charlton's previous assignments include Battalion Executive Officer for 1-223rd Aviation Regiment; Air Ambulance Detachment Commander; MEDEVAC Doctrine Course Director, HHC Commander for 2-158th, and Aviation and Medical Operations officer for 16th Combat Aviation Brigade.
MAJ Charlton's combat tours include Operation Freedom's Sentinel and Operation Enduring Freedom.
She has been awarded the Honorable Order of Saint Micheal, Army Aviator Badge, the Meritorious Service Medal (2), the Army Commendation Medal (5), the Army Achievement Medal (5), the Army Superior Unit Award, the National Defense Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal (2), and the Global War on Terrorism Medal (2), among others.
